Help required. need to place online a large database of pdf files tagged into several categories, so if, for instance, a button for a particular category is pressed, those pdfs are presented. All the pdfs in the growing database must be searchable with a decent search facility, unlike Windows. Blogger would have been a good start, but you cant upload pdfs as posts. The database will be accessed via links from a Joomla site. I would like to have the database as part of the Joomla site but the only decent looking extension that seems to do pdf search does not work. So it looks like a separate site, linked to from the Joomla site, perhaps later with docs embedded. Very important call. Any takers?
