Help us re-open Martys Place, a residence for people with AIDS started by a franciscan friar Richard Purcell who came to SF to take care of his brother Marty who was dying of AIDS. It closed when Richard died in 2011. The SF Community Land Trust is planning to set it up as a coop for low-income people with AIDS. They need money for renovations that need to be done before the six to nine coop members move in. Below is a link to a one-minute video about Martys Place narrated by David Campos.
