Helping a local filmmaker here in the NYC area - pass it on if you know anyone who might be interested! ike Steampunk? Hip Hop? Musicals? Gear It Up is a short film that mixes all three of those things into a kaleidoscopic, monocle-shattering, butt-twerking adventure of inter-universal travel and crazy culture collisions! It’s a story about an awkward rapper that gets sucked into an immortal alternate victorian universe and changes everyones lives with his music. We’d like to turn this short film into a webseries! We are shooting Gear It Up! in New York City in the next couple of weeks, and for those of you who’d like to be a part of the production and be in the film in your own beautiful costumes, we are looking for background talent for film shoots that involve burlesque dance parties and green screen set musical numbers!
