Henry Ford believed that if he paid employees a fair wage - TopicsExpress

Henry Ford believed that if he paid employees a fair wage ($5/day,1914) then he could cut the turnover and training time of the labor force: ...raising wages can reduce total labor costs (Forbes, 3/4/2012). Fox Newsies oppose raising the minimum wage because low-paying jobs (supposedly) inspire people to work harder/find those better jobs that the 1% sweated so hard to job-create after the people bailed them out/earn those raises that CEOs are so eager to give them! Home Depot NEVER fires its highest-paid associates, right? Higher wages = socialism, ya? Unions are evil because MANAGEMENT knows whats best for employees...and all-time record US corporate profits go right where they SHOULD go: into bonuses for management! True? Welcome to Century 21. :)
