Yesterday i read the daily monitor about the girls taken to work in Arab nations n end up in prisoms.I wish to warn fellow Ugandans pliz look for something else to do....this is my story and its true. I read an advert on Bukedde T.V about STEMA International.They had job adverts and since i was desperate for a job i went and registered. I borrowed 2million and paid them.Its my poor auntie who helped me borrow this money from the womenz group.It took me 6months to go.First we registered as security guards in Dubai.But the story changed and they said the contract had been conselled and we were taken to orman as maids.I had no option still.I had to pay the money and i was even more desperate. When one is flying from Uganda they tell you A Ugandan agent will be the one to receive you but thats not the case. You meet Arabs and your passport is taken away from you before you even leave the airport.The guys are rude and the language barrier makes matters even worse.We reached an office where we were told to bathe and change. In this office i met two Ugandan galz.They had been beaten up by their bosses and when they demanded to go back home they were hidden there with just one meal daily. One was badly bleeding from her private parts. Because she was badly beaten.These girls had been told to call their families to pay the bosses that had facilitated their transport and visa.Then after that they still had to pay for their return ticket.It was their end.On hearing that i cried.In about two hours they called me that my boss had reached.I caught my luggage and moved in the car.We drove a long distance and there i was.In a home of 6children their parents and grandmother. I had to do laundry, iron,cook,clean the whole flat,the compound.I would wake up at 3am to wash two cars and do other things till 11pm.But one day as the lady was away the guy wanted to abuse me.I fought but he treated me so bad.I demanded to be taken back to the agency where they had got me.They torured me and an Arab guy Called Dauda hit me.When they gave me a phone to call my family for payments i called a relative in ESO and in 5hours my ticket was ready.I left those galz behind pleading for my help which i did when i reached home.Please girls be careful or even think twice before you go.Stecia waited for me at the airport and even paid me back my 2m that very day.She pleaded i dont talk to reporters who were also waiting.i accepted to sit on it naye kisusse.Abaana babonaavo and imprisoned too.
