Here Davie Lynch talks about creativity and how the pieces of a new idea come to us one fragment at a time. I like to think of it like, in the other room the puzzle is all together but [in this room] the pieces keep flipping in one piece at a time. For those of us who work with dreams using the Ullman method this notion rings a bell. The other room, of course, is whatever part of us gives rise to our dreams. The dream brings the pre-assembled discovery but in working with the dream in the group. the dreamer only gets it piece by piece. With luck, by the end of the process the assembled whole gets through to the dreamer and we all have it on this side.
