Here I have a small clip with a student playing the B Major scale. I am guessing that most teachers start students with C Major since it looks simple of only playing white keys! This is not true! B Major is the simplest (this is what pianist/composer Frederic Chopin used to do) as our evolution of our hand exactly matches the architecture of the piano! Try it! Place your thumb on key B with fingers 2 on C# and 3 on D# and see how it feels. Then thumb on E, F# with 2, G# with 3 and A# with 4! Adam :)
