Here I sit . . . . 48 hours after the Monroe County 4-H Livestock Auction. . . . Im still a little numb Im still a little teary-eyed And Im still completely overwhelmed! Brystin , Billy and I were incredibly touched when Shane Spicer approached us with his auction plan 🐷 The thought of receiving 2, 3 or possibly even $5,000 to put towards Brystins Diabetes Alert Dog was extremely exciting! . . . But clearly we had no idea what would be in store for July 31, 2014 . . . Our 4-H Community did something WAY above and beyond anything we could have ever dreamed!! Thank you Crider & Crider for the winning bid of $26/lb!! WOW!! But unbeknownst to us at the time of the auction - Ike Redden with United County Coffey Reality & Auction was collecting additional bids from the 4-H Community!! This was an additional $22/lb bringing the total to an AMAZING $48/lb WOW!🐷 In addition to Crider & Crider - 30 extremely kind and generous folks helped raise over $17,000 (in a matter of minutes) to help Brystin reach her goal to be able to purchase a Diabetes Alert Dog! ! TONIGHT we were able to submit the application for the service dog!!👏🐾🐶 We are VERY excited! At this point the dog training process will take roughly 10 to 12 months! We owe each and everyone of you a HUGE THANK YOU and we are forever grateful for your generosity! 🐾For the people who donated to Brystins gofundme account 🐾 For the people who bought bracelets from Brystin 🐾 For the people who were involved in the 4-H Livestock Auction To each of you . . . THANK YOU for helping a little girls dream come true!🐾🐶 We will keep you all posted on the progress! !
