Here Jodi Wunsch! Since you like Navy photos! :) The carriers are the GHW BUSH (77) and Harry Truman (75). The Truman is doing an UNREP ~ underway replenishment. We used to do one every 12-14 days, if we hadnt been into port. Two ships going side by side at about 10-15 knots. Connected by cable and fuel lines. Transferring supplies and fuel from the supply ship to the carrier. Very dangerous because they both have to keep a steady pace as well as a straight line. Also helos flying back and forth from deck to deck. Its one of those things we kind of take for granted out there. But when you think about it, it really is pretty awesome!
