Here are a few exciting things coming up at Pituitary World News! We created Pituitary World News to educate and share our knowledge and experiences, so we are hard at work digging for useful information and interesting topics for discussion. Our goal to bring you state of the art, up-to-date information and provide a forum for discussion so more people can be aware, properly diagnosed, helped and cared for. We will soon publish our website at pituitaryworldnews. We are very excited about it and look forward to sharing more details as we move forward. As a preview I can tell you it will have breaking news, opinions, educational interviews with leading experts, our patient and family stories, and general interest trends to improve our quality of life. We want everyone to participate and exchange ideas through our website, Facebook page and You Tube channel. We want this to be a fun, engaging experience . Also in the works are educational and general information videos. Dr. Blevins and I will be interviewing doctors, patients and other interesting people to share their interests, knowledge and stories. Many great topics of interest including discussions on: Gamma knife radiosurgery with Dr. Sandeep Kunwar; endo nasal transsphenoidal surgery versus endoscopic pituitary surgery; incidental pituitary adenomas; discussions on controversies regarding bio identical hormone replacement; growth hormone replacement, Cushing’s syndrome and much, much more.
