Here are a few things I find funny looking back at what the media was hyping in August. 1. UGA was primed to not only make it to the SEC Championship Game but to get revenge in the SEC Championship Game against Bama mostly due to Bamas depleted OL. 2. Oregon was unbeatable and whoever came out of the SEC would finally be dethroned. 3. Jadeveon Clowney was a slam dunk to be in the top 3 Heisman vote getters and was considered a realistic winner of the award. 4. Auburn was hopeful that their new coach could turn things around and get them to 7 wins and a bowl. Its just another example of how all the talk that happens BEFORE a season/event/game/whatever is completely useless and rarely has any basis in reality. What else am I forgetting?
