Here are a few upcoming events: THIS WEEKEND: A) Youth Emphasis Weekend, May 9-10, 2014 Calling all the youth! This weekend we will be doing a little exchange. We will begin on Friday, May 9, at 8:00 p.m. at the Nepean Adventist Church (4010 Strandherd Dr, Ottawa), joining their youth for the discussion group: More Than Words. On Sabbath morning, join us for Youth Emphasis Day as we worship together to give glory to God - from Sabbath School at 9:15 a.m. to Divine Service at 11:00 a.m. Bring yourselves and bring a friend! We will be going back to the Nepean Adventist Church for the Adventist Youth (AY) Program at 6:00 p.m. AY will incorporate creative Bible games and trivia! The focus will be on heaven, with a dynamic skit showing that we are all equal, and that heaven is open to all. Following that there will be gym night at Samuel-Genest (704 Carsons Rd, Ottawa) at 8:30 p.m. For directions or rides, please contact Julian Grant. See you there! B) Launch of Eastern Ontario School of Evangelism and Discipleship, Sabbath, May 10 @ 4:30 p.m., Ottawa East Adventist Church, 194 Prince Albert Street. All are invited to the launch of the new School of Evangelism and Discipleship. Two tracks are available: Lay Evangelism & Credentialed Lay Preacher. Classes begin Sunday, May 25, 2014.
