Here are some ideas to enjoy your Fall weekend in Tucson: Are you in the mood for a Fall Festival? If so, there are plenty to go around this weekend. Start by heading to Sahuarita for the Sahuarita Pecan Festival where you will find arts, crafts, food and plenty of entertainment. You can purchase all the fresh pecans you need for upcoming holiday baking. New this year at the Festival is a pecan pie contest! Yum! Entry fee is $10, and all entrants receive a one pound bag of pecans for entering their pie! On Saturday you can head to Elgin for the 14th Annual St Martins New Release Festival. Try the new wine, take a horseback or carriage ride and just enjoy being at the vineyard on a beautiful Fall day. Harlow Gardens on Pima Ave is the site for a Holiday Marketplace. Stroll around the gardens and visit with the 50 artists slated to be there this weekend. Also on Saturday and Sunday, Catalina Foothills High School, will be the site for the TSO Masterworks Series Legends and Dances concerts. End the weekend with the Tucson Guitar Society International Festival which begins Sunday and runs through November 17th at the U of A campus. Come listen to the sweet sound of classical guitar to soothe your soul. Check the Buzz for information on the Vail County Fair and other events and sports schedules in and around Tucson.
