Here are some information about A2 Online Judge First FCI-CU Tournament (more details will be announced soon): This is the first tournament on A2 Online judge, and its open for public. Anyone can participate in this tournament, but only Faculty of Computers and Information - Cairo University (FCI-CU) undergraduate students will be eligible to win prizes. The tournament will be mainly targeting the beginners to programming competitions students, so if you are experienced coder dont expect to see hard problems in this tournament. The contest will start by a practice contest followed by 3 warmup contests, these contests are optional, they wont affect the final results, also the problems in these contests wont be new, they are just for practice. Then there will be a qualification round, and anyone who solves at least 2 problems in this contest will be qualified to the final round. The problems in the qualification and final rounds will be new. The practice, warmup and qualification rounds, each round will be divided into 2 separate scoreboards, one for FCI-CU undergraduate students, and the other one is for everyone else. The final round will be divided into the following 4 separate scoreboards: - Div1 FCI-CU undergraduate students. - Div2 FCI-CU undergraduates students. - Div3 FCI-CU undergraduates students. - Everyone else. The criteria for dividing FCI-CU undergraduate students into 3 divisions will not be announced, but you will know your division before the final round. The criteria will make sure that everyone has a chance to win a prize, and it will be as fair as possible. Important note for FCI-CU undergraduate students, to be eligible to win a prize you must participate in at least 3 TopCoder rounds (live, not in practice rooms), and you must participate in at least 3 Codeforces contests (live, not in practice). The top 5 in each FCI-CU undergraduate students division will win A2 Online Judge T-Shirt! Also some materials will be sent to the participants before the qualification round to help them to practice and prepare for the tournament. Keep training hard!
