Here are some pictures from the Wild Bird Classic. Thanks to everyone who supported this fund raising event with their entries and to those who attended Saturday nights dinner. Thanks to our judges Carl Checklick and Don Wood, it was a pleasure to work with them. Jay Powell cooked up a storm on Saturday making 3 types of pork that had everyone raving that it was the best they had ever tasted. Jay was assisted by Greg Larrison who is always ready and able to help out when needed. Thanks to everyone who pitched in with side dishes and desserts, a special shout out to Mike Shearer who made his wifes macaroni salad receipt to keep trial chairperson Becky a happy woman. We saw lots of great dog work and plenty of birds all three days of the trial. Mother nature even did her best to make us happy with cooler days on Fri and Saturday, and some clouds thrown in on Sunday to temper the rising heat. Mark your calendars for next year and plan to join us for some good old South Florida style bird dog fun.
