Here are the first few tries at Zentangle. I did a google search for doodling winter of 2012, b/c I have been a doodler off and on for much of my life. I saw some Zentangles that made it into the image page and was immediately intrigued. So, I started tangling constantly. I didnt fully appreciate the meditative aspect at first, although, drawing will get you there, like music or many other things where one becomes mindful. Here are the first few on the left, and here is my latest Zendala:
