Here are the question I came up with (for now). Wilbert and Kinga, I will send you a copy via email. Food: - Are there any kind of cooking facilities we can use? - If no, are there at least facilities to make simple things like coffe or tea? - I heard there is a BBQ grill available. From experience I know it is possible to cook on grills as well. This leaves the question if the venue has kitchen equipment like pots we can use? - Are there olates, glasses, cups etc. we can use or do we have to bring all that stuff along? - You said breakfast is included. What will you provide? - You said lunch and dinner can be bought at the venue for 14/19 Złoty. Have you tried their food? Is it any good? Are you still hungry afterwards? - Is there an option for people who onlz eat vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc.? Drinks: - Does the venue or do you sell any kind of beverages? - What kind of drinks get sold? - What are the prices? - Can we bring our own drinks or do we even have to? Shops: - What kjnd of shops are around (small stores or supermarkets)? - What are their opening hours (especiallz during NYE and NY)? - What is available there? (If those shops are small ones and we have to bring our own drinks this is of interest) - Please make sure that the owners of the markets are aware of our group. We dont want them to run out of certain things! Music: - Do you have DJs already, do you need any? - Is it possible for musicians do play anywhere or shall they betgerleave their instruments at home. This question is covering the possibility of playing in our huts what might be forbidden if there are other groups of people around. - Please keep in mind. From experience I can tell that evenings with only one kind of music suck as we are a mixed audience. The best selling Death metal band or electro artist might no be as attractive to the average camp goer as you think. Better stick topeople who llay a mixed set and to songs everybody can sing along. I have been going to camps now for 10 years and that is what my experience is telling. Of course, half an hour of balkan beats in between or some good electronic music in the early morning hours are welcome too. Facilities: - What kind of equipment can the venue provide? (E.g projector, TV, cables, microphones.) - Will you bring/rent any additional stuff? - Is ghere anything needed that is not availble yet you woild like one of the participants to bring? - Can we use anything available at any or only at certain times? - There is a big party room. Is that room available at all evenings or only for NYE? - What facilities are there we can use (football field, table tennis, board games...)? - Are ghere other guests around or are we for ourselves? - If there are other people, are there any certain rules reagarding that, for example noise after a certain hour? Communication/payment: - Please start a regular newsletter that announces all updates. - I understand that you are waiting for enough people to sign up for an event before you book it. On the other side you said I get paid back if I dont participate in an event. I believe this might bring you in some trouble. What kind of reasons do you accept for people stepping back from an event so they get their money back? -Would it be enough of a reason if I just say I dont feel like anymore? If the majority of the peolle I want to hang out with is doing sth. else? If there is a workshop ruuning simultaneously in which i would like to participate? ...and last but not least: What do we need to bring? Thanks for reading this. Floh
