Here are two things I propose for the betterment of America. 1. No person shall be permitted to receive a high school diploma in the United States or any if its territories without having taken a course of instruction surveying the the declaration of independence and the constitution of the United States and having demonstrated an understanding in the principles and basic content thereof, by the successful completion of a written and oral exam, at the high school level 2. Every male citizen, deemed fit for service, of the United States between the ages if 18-25 shall be required to serve not less than six months in reserve duty of the armed forces of the United States and completion of such reserve service shall be a requirement to receive the benefit of any public aid in pursuit of higher education eligible for such public aid If I were a senator or representative I would propose such legislation for enactment into law. I think these things would foster patriotism and character amongst the citizenry.
