Here at Military with PTSD there are no Combat vets vs. Non Combat - TopicsExpress

Here at Military with PTSD there are no Combat vets vs. Non Combat vets vs. MST vets. Our main focus is Military PTSD. We here on this page, want to support any and all Vets with PTSD (and their spouses, significant others, and family members), regardless of their situation, or the exact circumstances that led to it. We are not here to just throw opinions around either. The best support response you could give is, What I/we did in (whatever situation) was to . . . It worked for me/us and helped, maybe it is something you could try and could work for you. People are welcome to say what works for them so long as it is legal in all 50 states. We don’t make decisions on moderating posts lightly. We do expect that participants post content and commentary that is both relevant and respectful to this community as a whole. Military With PTSD reserves the right to remove any posts that don’t adhere to our guidelines and to block anyone who violates them repeatedly. Specifically, we do not tolerate these kinds of posts: • Abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening or attacking others • Preaching posts: You are free to talk about how God has worked in your life, but please refrain from post saying things such as, You need God, God will take your pain away, or With God you can get through anything.” (And no we arent violating your Freedom of Speech. You are still free to speak about God and we encourage it, just please keep it in the context of how he has worked in your life.) • No Political discussions unless it relates to PTSD, veterans and families, or care. • Spamming in nature (repeating the same post or message many times over) • Commercial solicitation or solicitation of donations. We are a 501c3 and if we cant account for money it appears we are raising then the IRS can revoke our status. • Link baiting (embedding a link in your post to draw traffic to a different site **unless the post is specifically asking for resources**) Post Hijacking or posting things not relevant to the OP. We ask that all members do their best to be courteous and understanding to others, as not all members are in the same stages of living with and understanding PTSD.
