Here comes Gaby Souter, the infamous local food writer from Scotsman newspaper,who has no food knowledge, passion neither taste buds. I had a review for Hakataya last week. The total score was 16/20, but the article was full of rubbish. She came to taste our Ramen but what she picked was Hell (very spicy) Ramen to make her tongue numb and ordered tempura to go with (Bad choice!). If she was a proper food writer must pick the simplest Ramen to taste the soup to judge. She described Tonkotsu soup as miso flavour ( no trace of miso in it!!! ) Obviously she has never heard the word of Tonkotsu neither Ramen movements in NY & London. I hope Scotsman can find a better person with taste buds to fill their newspaper.
