Snowflakes of Praise . . . . . This message may relate to my friends in specific parts of the world more than my Florida friends, but here goes anyway! Psalm 104:3 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. If you have ever had the blessing (?) and privilege of standing outside in the winter, when the following happens, you will understand what I mean by snowflakes of Praise. You are standing there . . . Then a flake of snow hits you on the cheek. . . . . Then another and another. . . . . After a few minutes, the pace increases, and you are getting swatted with fat flakes of fresh white stuff coming down from the heavens. Later still the size and texture of the snow changes, but it is now coming down furiously. Looking down, you notice that your feet are no longer visible. Just beautiful, white, fresh snow. If you stay long enough, you will see deeper snow. So deep that in some areas of the world, you may be filled up, covered up and no longer distinguishable from the surroundings. You have become part of the terrain, the atmosphere, the nature of snow. You are hidden in it. I wont weary you with describing in detail the analogy and how this refers to praise, except for this: If you were the Spirit of God, at what point would you like the praise service to end? Flurries, Ankle deep, waist deep, or . . . . . totally submerged? OK so what is the hindrance? Time, Place, People, Impatience, Procedure? Wouldnt you like to be in one big praise service one day (before leaving earth) that nobody said, Its over now!? I would.
