Here follows something I would like to have approved for discussion: 1) Who is the rider on the white horse in the first seal? 2) Do we remain here for tribulation time until the outpouring of the wrath? I have supplied scripture supporting my conviction we do: Correlating timeline given by Messiah in gospels with Revelation by John of the Resurrection of the Just (popularly referred to as rapture) THE CONQUEROR And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four living creatures saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer (Rev 6:1-2) . is the same person as ........Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. WHY YOU MIGHT SAY? WHY EILEEN, WOULD YOU CONTRADICT MANY BIBLE PREACHERS AND TEACHERS AND FOOT NOTE SCHOLARS IN THE MANY TRANSLATIONS OF THE TEXTUS RECEPTUS???? HOW DARE YOU CONTRADICT CENTURIES OF THIS POPULAR CONJECTURE??? ANSWER: Christ is the High Priest and the Conqueror over sin and death and the grave. The tendency to disbelieve it is Christ is voiced to me recently in a bible study - Christ is opening the seals and how can he be in the first seal on the horse? Well, easily, God is not hemmed in by time constraints and was well able to be seated in heaven and praying to the throne of the Father on earth. He is living outside of our time constraints, not confined to space and time as we know it in our finite minds!!!! The next question now is - who is the real conqueror over all EVIL WHO CAME TO DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL??? - It is finished He said!!! Christ is already on the right side of the Father and has the white horse before we even are at the fulfillment of seeing this scene. ---- Yes, satan would love for Christians to believe that he is the one on the white horse conquering and to conquer. Look now to the sixth seal in Revelation and you will see this which correlates to the same event as told above: Revelation 6:12-17 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? REVELATION 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. SEEMS LIKE THE TIME SEQUENCE IS PROVEN RIGHT ABOVE THIS LINE HERE NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE IN TWO DIFFERENT GOSPELS AND IN REVELATION IN PLAINLY UNDERSTOOD TEXT!!! Some people will say that we are here after the sixth seal because of an occurring verse later on in Chapter 13 - however Revelation jumps around in the anals of time quite a lot. It does not mean that a later ocurring verse is in chronological order of history (in my opinion). The following verse does, however prove that the believers will be here for the tribulation time of the rule of the antichrist. Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world ...........Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. THE BELIEVERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY OR SELL....THIS IS BELIEVERS STILL HERE BEFORE THE RESURRECTION OF THE JUST (SIXTH SEAL)- CONTRARY TO POPULAR BOOK SALES THESE ARE NOT BELIEVERS DURING THE BOWLS OF WRATH TIME AFTER A MYSTERIOUS UNOBSERVED RAPTURE OF SAINTS!!! WHY??????? BECAUSE IN MY BIBLE, THERE IS ONLY ONE RESURRECTION OF THE JUST. LATER ON THE UNJUST (OR THE SECOND DEATH).... NO SECOND CHANCES ARE INDICATED TO ME - IN FACT IT IS SAID THAT THERE IS NO REPENTANCE DURING THE DISPENSATION OF THE VIALS OF WRATH, WOES AND PLAGUES THAT COME AFTER THE SAVED ARE CAUGHT UP.... Rev 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. Rev 16:10 ¶ And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
