Here goes my own very recent Obama care (if anyone cares) experience So I got myself 308 dollars a month Obama care few month ago being all proud and sort of excited to have a health care first time in a long while. Decided to use it and go to the doctor for a regular check in first time in a long long while., why not? I have an insurance now after all! Filling up the first time papers and Ive been asked by the secretary whats my co pay? Not really an expert and I wasnt sure of it but then looking at my insurance card discovered that its 50 percent .. Further. Doctor comes out looking at my card and explains that I also have 3000 deductible . Whats that. Well that what I have to spend on doctors to then be eligible for 50 percent co pay . So .. Very simple calculation and I am realizing that I have to spend 3G to pay my fees first then 3 G to pay the deductible and only then i will be eligible for 50 percent copayment .. Basically means that for my 100 usd doctor visit for now I have to pay around 6 G . Another words I will truly see the benefits of the greatest obamacare only after spending over 12 G on my doctors and pills.. I understand that is not as simple as it sounds but I got a feeling that I got myself a wrong deal...
