Here goes nothing. Seven things you may not know about me. 1. I was such a tiny child that at 5 my Doctor, Dr. Milligan carried me into the operating room to remove my tonsils. 2. In grade school I played basketball on the afterschool team and my coach called me DY. I didnt like being called Melanie, so I would alway shout dy, dy. It stuck! 3. After school my friends and I would walk to the corner hamburger joint and order hot, hot fries, play the jukebox and sing. ( We assumed we were cool). To this day I will send my fries back if they are not super hot. 4. In junior high I played every sport offered in GAA, (Girls Athletic Association). I was a fierce competitor. 5. In high school I played tennis, acted and directed plays and danced. I went to high school and acted with Harry Anderson. Stephen Segal also attended Buena Park High. (Both their bios say different). Lol 6. Going to college was always intimidating but once I got the courage to go I loved it. Once in a computer class with my sister-in-law we competed so hard we both ended up with an A+. 7. Going to the beach was not one of my favorite things but my boyfriend/husband was/is a surfer so I spent/ spend large amounts of time there. (After 45 years its growing on me). Bonus 8. I read these to my adoring husband and he wanted me to brag more. I love that about him. Probably why Im willing to spend so much time at the beach. Lol
