Hi All - Linda Macey probably wont like me telling you all this, but that only because she does not like attention. You see in September (which is Blood Cancer Awareness Month) 2006 she was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia and started Chemotherapy within just a few hours of the confirmed diagnosis. She fought like hell and kicked that Leukemias ass and has been cancer free for about 7 years now. Thats the good news. The bad news is that she and others with blood cancers are likely to see the disease return so it is imperative that research continues so new therapies can be found to finally cure folks that have this nasty disease once and for all. So I am imploring you all to donate a few bucks to LLS to help find a cure for blood cancers of all kinds.
