Many Ghanaians are now more confident in the military than in our parliamentarians, thats according to afro barometer. The parliamentarians are shamefully expressing shocks over this?? They should find out the reasons behind such a confidence in the military, when crass corruption is milking the society why wont Ghanaian loose confidence in our parliament?? When a loan of a whooping $700million can be secured by a state institution as GNPC without a parliamentary approval and yet some parliamentarians would be happy about such a development. When majority of parliamentarians have lost their thinking caps an dit is rather their political parties that reason for them, why wont Ghanaians have more confidence in the military?? Those stolen monies that have been ordered to be retrieved, if the order was given by the military these monies would have been retrieved within the twinkle of an eye. If you have a parliamentarian who cant even interpret the law in the right perspective, a legislature who cant read a contract thoroughly before he signs in the interest of his people, but only signs in the interest of his political party why wont Ghanaians loose confidence?? Ghanas parliament is weak, it deems fit for Ghanaians to have more confidence in the military.
