Here in the Pacific Northwest, we don’t often get clear, starry nights. Whenever there’s a meteor shower or lunar eclipse, it’s inevitably hidden behind dense cloud cover. Which is why, for our last Grower’s Choice of the season, we picked the coolest watermelon in the galaxy, Moon & Stars. It’s dark skin is stippled with hundreds of golden speckles and a large lunar spot, and it performs well in our cooler climate, producing up to 10 lb. fruits. So while you may not be breaking out the telescope anytime soon (it’s going to happen someday, trust us), you can always do a little stargazing out in your garden.
