Here is MY definition of a Huntress (if anyone was wondering my opinion) time and time again I see this topic and word pop up and actually it puzzles me. Huntress to me is an adjective used to describe or characterize a female that seeks attention (sorry this is MY opinion) Too many instances I have seem a person add this word behind their name and when you look at their story you find a lot of pictures of pretend hunts, fake poses, but yet no success photos. Anyone can jam a group of arrows into the bullseye and snap a picture, lean up against a tree with a camo face mask snapping a selfie, but where are the pictures that show the success of their hunt? We may not kill something every time out but it is the quality of the hunt, quantity of the time spent, and the lessons learned that truly make a hunt a success!! I am sadened and disgusted by the misuse of the image of a woman of the outdoors! Thanks, rant over :-)
