Here is a Jily I wrote a while ago :) All feed back is welcome, as always :) Lily and Severus sat under the shade of a large tree near the lake. Severus was ranting about Slughorns incorrect potion instructions, but Lily was only half listening. She was looking towards the lake, where the four Marauders sat, laughing. Lilys attention however, was on the boy farthest on the right. James. While Lily tried to fight this thought out of her head and listen to Severus, she found it rather difficult. While she still stood up for Sev, she found it quite hard to scold James. It did bother her a lot, but when she looked at him laughing so very happily, her feelings of annoyance were far away from her... Lily? Severus s words cut her train of confusing thoughts. Mm? she responded. I asked you a question, said Severus, looking perplexed. Sorry Sev, whats up? asked Lily apologetically. I asked you why you were looking over there, he gestured towards the lake, with the same puzzled expression. Oh! said Lily, blushing, Oh, its nothing, I was just thinking about... her words trailed off. She knew what she said was a downright lie. What she was thinking about was definitely not nothing... ~TA LunaTonks P.S this is supposed to be set shortly before the Snapes Worst Memory scene. She didnt show it, but Lily did find it hard to yell at James during that scene.
