Here is a Red alert update that i receive as a REALTOR. If you know anybody who needs a short sale this will affect them. Red Alert Update C.A.R. wants to let everyone know there is no further need to contact Assembly Member Gatto concerning SB 30, C.A.R.’s sponsored legislation to provide tax relief to those selling their home in a short sale. C.A.R.’s point that innocent families will be hurt by the Legislature’s inaction has been well made and the phone lines will be turned off shortly. AGAIN, THERE IS NO NEED TO MAKE ADDITIONAL CALLS. Unfortunately, the Assembly Appropriations Committee will not pass SB 30 this week, stay tuned... Thank you to the more than 1,000 REALTORS® who contacted Assembly Member Mike Gatto’s office since yesterday morning to voice your support for SB 30. In addition to all those of you who made calls, hundreds more shared our Red Alert on Facebook, posted on Twitter and forwarded our Red Alert to their clients. This was a mighty effort on behalf of our clients, one in which all REALTORS® can be proud. Now that your voices have been heard, C.A.R. will keep you posted on new developments.
