Here is a great recipe for a Blood Sugar Regulating Smoothie! Also learn a new kitchen technique of how to "supreme" citrus fruits. Enjoy! :-) Benefits: Grapefruit and lecithin are excellent for flushing excess toxins from the body and coconut and ginger increase metabolism. These fruits are low in calories and contain fiber (along with the seeds) to help flush excess fat and toxins from the body. Parsley is a natural diuretic. Add protein powder if desired for those with blood sugar issues. Ingredients: 1 ½ grapefruits, supremed 1 ½ oranges, supremed 1 mango or papaya, peeled and seeded ½ Tbs chopped ginger 1/4 bunch parsley 1 ½ Tbs lecithin, non GMO Instructions: Blend all of the ingredients together until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
