Thank you JJ for your support: Ladies and Gentlemen; When I found out that Tim Svenson and Tim Casey were both running for Sheriff I was glad to see there were two men who Ive known, and worked with for a lot of years running for the office of Sheriff. When I think about the Yamhill County Sheriffs Office and the community, I think of Service. The words Excellence In Service is on every patrol car, the stationary and the office building. With that being said, lets get to what should be the true root focal point for this election. Excellence In Service - This is a daily reminder of the mission statement and visions of service to the citizens of Yamhill County. The office of Sheriff is not about politics. It is about service to the community, and helping those who need it. Serving the citizens who live, work and travel through the county. Tim Casey has worked for the citizens of Yamhill County in one capacity or another since the 90s as a Police Officer, or Deputy Sheriff. He worked in the private sector and owned his own business. He has been a county resident his entire life. Currently, he works as a patrol/forest deputy and the search and rescue coordinator, serving you from the front lines. Tim Casey drives a fully marked patrol truck everyday, with Excellence in Service on the rear quarter panel. Tim Casey wears the uniform everyday with pride of service and tradition. While Tim Casey has not promoted through the ranks as his competitor has, he has stayed humble and works in uniform daily, serving you. Tim Casey hasnt gotten wrapped up in the politics, but rather just went to work every day and served you, the citizens of Yamhill County. Tim Casey is who I strongly suggest you elect as your next Sheriff. Tim Casey is a man of service, pride, dedication and has the tradition of service needed to be your next Sheriff. Tim Casey has been endorsed by the sheriffs office employee union. This means a lot as they want to elect the person who will work with them, instead of them working for him. With Tim Casey, they will work WITH him to serve you, the citizens. I feel Tim Casey is the best candidate, as the citizens deserve a Sheriff who is Of, For and About the community he serves.
