Here is a video and photos of a recent trip we made to a northern pound. The pound had lots of dogs that day and we did not have enough foster homes to accommodate them all. We were able to get all of these innocent dogs out of the pound by partnering with a shelter. The first four dogs in this video were transported by our volunteers to the Hinton SPCA. If you look at their online adoptable pet’s list (hintonspca.blogspot.ca/), they are Dax, Raz-Berry, Loki and Andy. We are very grateful to the Hinton SPCA for their willingness to assist these pets. Rescue is a collaborative effort and we are pleased with the many partnerships we have developed over the years with shelters and other rescues. We also accept transfers when we have space. Transfer is made easier because of the 2014 Dodge Ram Cargo van that was donated to SCARS by Napa Auto Parts Wabasca (owned by Shawn Malloy and Paula Bissell) in memory of Shawn’s uncle, Captain John Malloy.
