Okay, its time for your (seemingly daily) history lesson: When you hear from some idiot that this country was founded by dead slave holding white guys you can strike back with this: Of the 56 signers of the Declaration, only FOURTEEN (for those idiots you tell this too, have them count to 14 with their fingers, repeating the last four digits) owned slaves, and of that 14, five freed their slaves after we won Independence, including Madison, Washington, and Jefferson. Why? because there WAS a clause in the original draft that called for the abolition of slavery, but South Carolinas Rutledge would withdraw support (true fact) unless it was stricken. I grow tired of those who dont do their homework, and I will ask them not to reproduce if that is the case - were full up on stupid here.
