Here is a video that contains a bunch of images and animations of recently created mountain scenes. These were all created with PD Howler 9.5. You can then export the resulting heightmap as a new image to use in Lightwave, Photoshop and other tools. You can also export a Wavefront OBJ file of the resulting best, the lighting map, texture map, texture masks for 3 regions (snow, rock and grass), and Zbuffer map. The latter can create interesting effects. For example, at the end of the video, the last image before the spinning final with trailer text, there is a greyscale landscape with some misty lights from above. That is simply the image from the zbuffer map..
