Here is an IMPORTANT share from my heart. Dear MJ, It has been a long time since I have seen you and had your daily influence in my life. Nonetheless, it is with great pleasure that I can say that since I have first known you, your influence and standards have continued to operate throughout my daily desires for a better life. Whether it be how a Mother is in a family, or a boss at work, or an agent serving the public, the values, conversations, leadership, and service experience during my decade at Canada Post all stems from that first experience working together. As a family man then, I was also able to incorporate the values I believed in and wanted to change in the pattern of child-rearing in my own role as a father to my two step-sons, Eric and Karl. It is with some regret, however that I have also grown and matured more as a man to see and know I still fell short as a loving husband. You made that forgiveable seeing my youth and acknowledging my maturity in accepting the choice I had made, regardless of who is right or who is wrong in that relationship. I do thank her for the opportunity to re-learn fatherhood by being a father. And MJ, you were an important role model that helped me handle that marriage well for a good 10 years. Again, regardless of who was right or who was wrong, the best thing happened for her two sons, and for my own experience of learning what it means to be a good father. Fallible, teacher, support, active in the community, involved with their lives, pursuits, and challenges. I always speak of those ten years of fatherhood as the BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. It is to you that I am most thankful for the leadership that helped shape the man I have become. Much love, Lee
