Here is an article about the Australian Productivity Commission, its effectiveness or lack thereof. It does seem to me that the PC rather than dictating the direction that Australia is heading should be finding solutions and pathways to achieve particular objectives. For example, what has to be done for Australia to be an exporter of a world car. The article is a bit of a read... interested in your comments....
