Here is an awesome story for you. Please read it. Last Friday Chrissy Kaczynski and I were at DCAS checking on a dog over our lunch hour. As we were leaving, a Dekalb police Marshall came in with this dog. The pup had literally jumped in his car while he was stopped. The officer was distraught - he was a big dog lover and by confession had too many dogs already- he knew a pittie had little chance. We -of course played with the pup and quickly found him to be one of those perfect dogs you just cant walk away from. As we were trying to figure out a plan- a lovely lady and her 3 simply lovely kids walked in. They had been looking at dogs to adopt but not found the one. It was like magic - Telly moved to the kids as they moved to him. Kisses, hugs, tail wags ensued. The mom was blown away and so were we. 5 days later when his stray hold was up -Telly has gone home with his kids and his happily ever after. I just spoke to the big burly officer - he is in tears and so am I.
