Here is an expanded version of Isa 53:5 Isa 53:5 “But (Jesus of Nazareth) he was wounded for our transgressions (willful sin acts), he was bruised for our iniquities (sin thoughts, actions and the curse due): the chastisement of our peace (poverty, impotency, confusion, lack, weakness, loneliness, depression, bad family, and misery due for sin) was upon him; and with his stripes (tearing, cutting or breaking of His physical body/flesh, primarily at the whipping post) we are (physically) healed (physically made whole, mended and repaired to the original intent of God, and blessed to the level of heaven on earth in every aspect of life for all, from the individual to the nation).”
