Here is an update on my brother Barry. He has a bleeding ulcer - TopicsExpress

Here is an update on my brother Barry. He has a bleeding ulcer which was probably brought on by all the stress he has had in his life over the last three years between the illness and death of my sister, my sister in laws health problems and the illness and death of his father in law plus working full time - it affected his health. The doctors are not going to bother the ulcer right now because it has stopped bleeding and his numbers are back up to 9 which is where they are supposed to be. Anyone who does not believe in the power of prayer, the power of good thoughts and the power of coming together for a common cause shame on you. I firmly believe that the prayers and good thoughts that have gone up and the continued prayers and good thoughts that go up will help my brothers health be restored. People that I have never met that are not even on my friends list have offered prayers and thoughts up simply because they were asked to by my friends. While some will say that social networking is beyond the pale, I disagree- without it many of you would not have known and most of you would not have been my circle of support in my many times of need. It just goes to show that we do not have to be in anothers physical presence for the hand of God or whatever deity one believes in to hear our cry. All we have to do is send out the message it will be heard and responded to. While I have never met most of you- your presence has sustained me through many things in my life- your gifts of thoughts, prayers and support are treasures that are worth more than their weight in gold. I am a very rich woman because of each of you. I have treasures and riches that can never be stolen - that can never be ungiven and that can be given over and over and over again. Please continue with your prayers and thoughts- He has a long road ahead as do those that love him. Please add my parents to your ever growing list as they too are struggling with their mortality. My dad can not longer drive at night- nor can he drive much during the day. My mom is struggling with ongoing health issues that comes with being 84 years old. My dad as well is struggling with the health issues that comes from being 86 years old. If you still have parents no matter their age or health or mind please hold them tight never fail to tell them that you love them- check on them let them know they are not forgotten. Life is fleeting and it is over way to fast. That my little minions is my public service announcement for the day. You are now free to move about the country.
