Here is another example of political correctness run amock . A juror is supposed to make an intelligent , considered decision. How can that be if the juror can not understand the testimony, or read documents submitted as exhibits or understand the jury instructions? In the court room you have to be able to communicate. It also shows a juror may not have the common experience to sit in judgment on a controversy because they have not assimulated into society by learning how to speak the common language.
