Here is another great reason why I do what I do! I just received this from a man that resides in Florida. I just watched your Vietnam slide shows and wanted to thank you. They brought back a lot of memories. I was there all of 1970 arriving at the beginning of Tet and leaving just before Christmas. You obviously were off limits a lot while there. I was a Homicide War Crimes Investigator with the Army CID. thanks again for the walk down memory lane. I was going to post a Alaska Slide show, but since I got this message, thought I would share some of the Vietnam videos again. I served in Vietnam from July 1970 to June 1971, and celebrated my 21st birthday there. I ended up being the supply sergeant for MACV Compound in Qui Nhon referred to as the central highlands. I went over with the expatiation of not returning home alive, so I lived every day as it was my last one. I still live that way today, because we are not promised tomorrow. So I partied hearty every chance I had. We island hopped (off limits of course) many times, and took along enough ammo to start our own war if needed. Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained! Not sure my mother approved, but I am sure she tried to understand. I sure didnt, hell I was a kid packing a gun! No Video Game Here!!!
