Here is another one that I wrote for Snamione. ~HMS Intel Hermione Snape was lying in bed watching Severus sleep. She carefully brushed her fingertips across his forehead to brush the hair aside. She remembered after the war was over that she and Harry rushed to the Shrieking Shack to check on their old Professor. They were shocked to see that he was barely alive. They found an empty bottle of a potion on the floor next to him. They immediately rushed him to St. Mungo’s for treatment. He was arrested but was soon released on Harry’s and Albus’s word that Severus was tied to an unbreakable bond to kill the Headmaster in place of Draco. Hermione convinced Severus to take her on as an apprentice for Potions. She wanted to be a Potions Mistress. He soon realized that he could stop teaching altogether if that was the case. She remembered the battle of words they had during the apprenticeship but the words weren’t as harsh like they were with Ron. Hermione fell in love with Severus. After she passed her test with flying colors, she confessed her feelings to Severus. At first, he thought that she was a foolish girl but he soon realized that he loved her as well and had missed her company. He found her in her office and asked her out for dinner. Their relationship wasn’t perfect but it was better than it would have been with Ron for Hermione. Severus realized that Hermione loved him for him and not anything else. He proposed to her on her 22nd birthday. She accepted with a big kiss. “Hermione?” asked Severus. Hermione snapped out of her remembrance. “Yes, dear,” She said looking down at his black eyes. “Why are you awake? Are you okay?” Severus looked at her sleepily. “Yes, Sev. I am fine. I was reminiscing our life together. I can’t believe we are here together and have been married for five years. It is amazing,” said Hermione with a smile. Severus smiled back at her and started to say something when a baby started to wail. They laughed. “I will get it, dear. Love you, Severus Snape.” Hermione slinked out of the bed to go to the nursery for their first child, Sebastian Salazar Snape. Severus watched her walk out and thought to himself. ‘I am so glad that I didn’t give up on love.’
