Here is how to do the basic beginning. First: Collect your coupons, printables, newspaper inserts, mailers, etc. Then, get the circular to whichever store you want to use, grocery store, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, wherever you feel would be easier for you to start out. Take the stores ad and look through it, see what is on sale and how they have everything separated. Generally, each store has their ad split up by department (dry goods, dairy, deli, meat, bakery, etc...). After you get an idea of how it is divided, start clipping and sorting your coupons into their appropriate category, it is easiest if you keep matching coupons together. Youll find, as you clip your coupons, that there are things you have coupons for that you saw in the store circular. If they are things you want or need, set them aside so you can circle them in the ad or write them down on your list. Make sure that you write specific details on your list. If you just write Cascade Dish Detergent the coupon may be for the tabs, and you might end up grabbing the liquid. (Personally, I like to circle the items in the ad to take along with my list.) After youre done clipping, just begin matching your coupons to the ad.
