Here is my rant for the day. And I mean no offense to the police or commissionare doing their job. But I would like an explination as to how the city feels it is safer for children to have to cross busy slippery roads that college students fly down as they leave siast than it is for parents to park on the school side of the road for 10m in order to safely pick up their kids from school. While waiting at kg for my kid i have seen 3 different police circling the block and the commissionare pacing the side of the road waiti g to ticket anyone who stops even briefly to get their kids. And with that a way higher flow of traffic as all the parents trying to get their kids in -25 windchill are having to drive laps around the block because they cant stop to get them. I am watching little ones on the sidewalk looking lost trying to find parents who are usually waiting, multiple close call rear enders as kids dart across to the other side of the road and cars are hitting their brakes on icy streets. I guess on the bright side there will be 3 cops close by when someone does get hit. Not sure the logic is all.
