Here is my short paragraph Portia Mitchell: I started with Schumacher on Oct. 31, 2011 and was given Samoa as my account. I began coordinating the school lunches to Schumacher for loading and dispatched each load upon completion. In the 3 years that I’ve been with Schumacher, I have exceeded the expectations of my title. I now provide rate quotes to move motorcycles, vehicles (INOP & OP), mopeds, golf carts, lawn mowers etc. I also move all commercial freight and hazardous goods. I am responsible for providing rates for oversized freight (Trailers, Mobile Homes, Bus & Boats). I quote RORO & LOLO services. I now handle the school lunch program for Guam. I request bookings from the shipping line or co-loaders, I send B/L instructions, file ISF for importing freight and file AES for exporting. I invoice each customer and confirm payment is received prior to releasing their freight. I coordinate container drop/pull, flat rack deliveries and crane services for our boat loads. I dispatch vehicle/motorcycle pick-ups and commercial freight. I send arrival notices and pre-alert docs. Several projects were left on my desk to handle and I’ve completed each one. Since then, I now have customers & agents who book freight on a regular basis. I know that I deserve a raise. Review the revenue report and see how well that I’ve done in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
