Here is the finished playlist for the I BLUES CONNECTION ALICANTE mini blues festival held at SALA NAVE IGUANA in San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante, Spain) on Saturday the 19th October 2013.....published on our BencaliMusic Youtube Video Channel featuring four local Alicantino blues bands...in playing order, SHOUT BLUES, THE BLUES SLAVES, ME & MR. CLAPTON, and MEDICINE MAN. I have been fortunate to have travelled the world two or three times, watching live blues in many countries, at many different venues. Nothing has ever given me more pleasure than travelling down to Nave Iguana last Saturday night to watch these 4 local blues bands on stage playing a fantastic 4 set mini blues festival to a very appreciative audience. Alicante isnt exactly on the global map for Blues Music, although there are many fine blues musicians in the area.....and god knows it should be....with these kinds of initiatives, these fabulous and passionate musicians, and a lot of hard work and promotion, one day it hopefully will be recognised as such, and be a normal stopping off point for touring blues artists on a regular basis. I would like to personally thank each and everyone one of these 17 local blues musicians who graced the stage on Saturday night, as well as the venue management, for their talent, music, and great effort in staging this event, and for giving me the opportunity to come along and capture this music on video, making me a very happy man as I dont often get the opportunity to see and listen to blues here of this standard...especially 4 bands together in the same evening!
