Here is the finished silk Narabi Karagumi, finally! I figure it probaly took me about 80 hours total. It is 60 (152cm) long and a little over an inch wide (2.8cm). My biggest mistake was to not measure the purple danzome (space-dyed) silk - it turned out to be substantially longer than the other silk I used; consequently, the second purple section is very short and a great deal of thread was wasted....sigh. Very stupid mistake, but theres nothing to be done about it. Here are the specs: 70g gama x 56, silk, 21 ends/tama, 40% counterweight, 15 kagami. Next will be a 3-diamond version, 72 tama, but only half this length!
