Here is the gist of the letter I forwarded to Friends and Fellow - TopicsExpress

Here is the gist of the letter I forwarded to Friends and Fellow Republicans in my absence from todays Unity Breakfast: On behalf of my family and I, we would like to thank the countless number of supporters, activists, and friends that joined us on the campaign trail. This race allowed us to meet with the citizens across Rockingham County that believe in the Republican principles of accountability, fiscal discipline, honesty, and integrity in public officials. We need to continue to fight for these principles on every level of government in order to maintain the faith of those who elect us. I would like to acknowledge my other opponents, particularly Michael Zaino. He may have been my opponent, but I am also proud to call him my friend. I also acknowledge Michael DiCroce and Pat Conway. Putting your name on the ballot is never easy. It forces us to take time away from our family, friends, and our careers. During this time, I built so many treasured friendships that will last well beyond the campaign. I also learned some important lessons about politics, party, and loyalty. Finally, I would like to thank those members of the Republican Party who supported me, encouraged me, and gave me great advice through this process. To them, I owe a debt of gratitude and my service. I look forward to working with them in the future. I hope November’s results prove to be the best for all of our citizens in Rockingham County. Sincerely, Jason Grosky
