Through our faith in Christ we can overcome all obstacles. Philippians 4:13New Living Translation (NLT) 13 For I can do everything through Christ,[a] who gives me strength. Just like Nick we can do anything that we put our minds to. When we dedicated our lives to Christ he assured us that He was there for us, and that he would be there no matter what. Good or bad times we need to always be thankful for what we have. We are all beautiful, special, and prepared for anything. Why?...because that is how God made us. Genesis 1:27New Living Translation (NLT) 27 So God created human beings[a] in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Too often today we focus on the negative, the things that we don’t have, the things that we can’t do. It is that defeatist attitude that keeps us down. When you are happy turn to God. When you are sad turn to God. When you are confused turn to God. God is our answer to all things. Philippians 4:19New Living Translation (NLT) 19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. When we give ourselves to Christ we are made anew. We are given a new mind, a new heart, and a new will. The old still remains so we must always put on our new selves and be prepared for the challenges ahead. We want to blame the devil for all of the bad in this world, but the struggle within ourselves is just as big of a fight. 2 Peter 1:4New Living Translation (NLT) 4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. Think about that…divine nature. We share a divine nature with Christ! So remember next time you feel defeated or lost, Christ dwells within you. Victory has already been guaranteed. When He died on the cross our sin and the devils control over us died with Him. Through His resurrection we were made new. Through His ascension we were given eternal life, and through His glorification we are glorified. Nothing of this world can ever defeat us unless we let it. Stay in God’s Word, never cease praying and know that we have already won through our faith and devotion to Jesus Christ.
